Pro Bono Awards Each year, the
Wyoming State Bar recognizes individual attorneys and law-related
organizations who have made significant contributions to the low-income
citizens and community organizations of Wyoming. In keeping with
this tradition, the Wyoming State Bar is currently soliciting names
for each of the following categories:
- Community
Service Award
This award recognizes a lawyer's outstanding contribution to his/her
community in work that is not directly related to the practice
of law. Selections will be based on an attorney's consistent and
long-term involvement with community service programs.
- Legal
Service Work for Indigent Clients
This award recognizes attorneys for their outstanding contributions,
involving time and effort, to lower-income citizens. Nominees
may also have made significant contributions in time or effort
to Legal Service Corporation offices in Wyoming.
* Nominees
for either category must be in good standing with the Wyoming State
Bar and
reside in the county in which they are nominated.
* Nominations
for the 2003 Pro Bono Awards may be submitted online by completing
the
form below, or may be submitted in writing to the Wyoming
State Bar, P.O. Box 109,
Cheyenne, WY 82003 before July 15, 2004.
