| Participating Wyoming Financial Institutions
Nearly
50 banks in Wyoming participate in the IOLTA program, accounting
for nearly all of the Foundation's income.
Thanks to all
of the Wyoming financial institutions that are participating members
of the Wyoming IOLTA program. The contributions of the following
financial institutions make it possible for the Wyoming State Bar
Foundation to provide funding to groups and agencies that provide
free civil legal aid to the poor, public education about the law
and improve the administration of justice.
Bank Honor Roll
Two
Wyoming banks - Wells Fargo Bank and Converse County Bank
have made significant contributions to the
Wyoming State Bar Foundation in the last few months.
| Wells
Fargo Bank has increased the interest rate that it pays
the Wyoming State Bar Foundation on the IOLTA accounts
at its banks across the state, resulting in a significant
increase in funding for the Wyoming State Bar Foundation.
Converse
County Bank gave the |
Foundation
a $1000 contribution, which was applied directly to
fund civil legal aid. Additionally, Converse County
Bank donated office furniture to the Domestic Violence
Civil Legal Aid Clinic at the University of Wyoming
College of Law. This new clinic, under the direction
of Dona Playton, was in desperate need of office supplies,
furniture and equipment. |
